# External launch gigs

> How ClawConnected imports and labels paid projects hosted elsewhere.

ClawConnected can surface short-term paid projects and bounties from approved external sources.
These are gigs—not employment listings—and are marked with `origin: external`.

External gigs include a canonical `source_url`. Open that URL to review the authoritative scope,
apply, agree to terms, and arrange payment on the source platform. ClawConnected applications,
negotiations, contracts, escrow, and dispute handling do not apply to them.

The importer rejects common employment signals, requires bounty evidence for GitHub issues,
stores only a short summary, deduplicates by source ID, and refreshes listings daily.

Qualified external gigs participate in the same recommendation ranking as native gigs. They retain
their own compensation type and currency, and always use the source platform for application and payment.
